2017 Lincoln MKC

2017 Lincoln MKC – For those who are looking for a generous standard equipment, good value, cushy ride with optional adaptive suspension system, and serene and smooth cabin, the Lincoln MKC for 2017 is a good choice. However, so-so performance, and a cramped cabin keep the MKC from being a must-have. We should expect the MKC in July 2017.

Lincoln has borrowed liberally from Ford for a quite some time now, and has managed to get away due to the extra levy on its prestigious badge, and extra leather which “arguably” make it Lincoln. But you are in for a big surprise with the new 2017 Lincoln MKC. This small crossover from Lincoln doesn’t feel and drive anything close to Ford.

With its available two four-cylinder turbocharged powerplants, a premium cabin, exterior and interior accents, and a selective modifiable suspension, the MKC for 2017 is unquestionably different. With these features in its fold, the new MKC seems to share nothing even with the Ford’s Escape which it shares a basic structure with. It is a no mean feat by any standards.

This refreshing appeal further propels the MKC to the high-end status in its class. Interior wise, the vehicle comes with a standard feature galore such as adaptive suspension dampers, sound-deadening materials, active noise cancellation, intricately crafted seats with appealing support, and new technologies. Even with its bargain price, the base model offers the Sync 3 touchscreen interface.

On the flipside, however, the vehicle falls short on several things like nondescript handling and performance, grabby brakes, snug backseat, uninspiring acceleration, and modest cargo capacity. That said, alternatives to consider include the 2017 BMW X3, 2017 Acura RDX. These vehicles are hard to beat in this class as they offer superior handling, comfortable seats, brisk acceleration, and ample cargo space.

Other formidable choices include the 2017 Lexus NX200t, the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport, and the 2017 Audi Q5. The 2017 Lincoln MKC is still worth a shot nevertheless.
