Undoubtedly a fine choice for a midsize sedan, the new 2017 Mazda 6 redesign offers it a new lease of life with new features such as a sporty handling, technology laden interior, smooth and responsive powertrain, stylish looks, excellent fuel economy ratings, and a quick acceleration. The Mazda 6 release date should be expected sometime in February 2017.
Like The Best?
Despite the inability to garner a significant fanatic following relative to other models in its class, the Mazda 6 remains one of the best sedans available today, and comes with parallel features such as those of the segment’s best. In fact, its features and technology list go tire-to-tire with German vehicles. In addition to the above hype (actually it isn’t), the newest member also retains some of the defining hallmarks of the Mazda 6: spacious cabin, impressive fuel economy, and agile handling.
Another appealing feature about the Mazda 6 2017 is its superb combination of performance, and fuel economy. The two features are metaphorically the opposite poles of a magnet, and both can hardly work seamlessly in the same situation. With the available i-Eloop system, Mazda says the new model should be able to achieve fuel economy ratings of about 32 mpg in combined city/highway driving. It does this without compromising the performance, which the automaker says comes with a solid acceleration figure adequate enough to enable you carve through city traffic or getting up to highway speeds.
More Advanced Design?
The 2017 Mazda 6 interior has also seen some new developments too. The design is much more refined, as are the technologies. The infotainment system now offers a faster response rate and comes with high-quality graphics. The exterior visibility is excellent. The new vehicle isn’t without gripes, however. The ride quality is somehow stiffer for a car within that price range, there’s no option for an engine upgrade, and the level of athleticism is average relative to other vehicles in its class.
Rivals include the Ford Fusion, the “A” rated Honda Accord, Kia Optima, Toyota Camry, and the Subaru Legacy.
2017 Mazda 6 Review of Trims
