The new 2017 Mustang Shelby GT350 is an outlandish vehicle that Ford has once again created. It provides a strong, high revving V8 machine, a well-appointed interior, and race-track-oriented handling. The GT350 release date should be expected sometime in the second half of 2017.
Sometimes you’ve had connotations like, “They don’t make ‘em the way they used to,” perhaps referencing Vapid Hollywood sequels or plastic Hot Wheels toy cars. This might be true for the new 2017 GT350.
Unlike other top-dog Mustangs that came with a supercharged engine for that extra dose of power, the new model comes with a unique V8, brakes, a race-track oriented suspension and whatnot that don’t inject the much-needed mojo. Instead Ford has fitted their newest model with a 5.2L V8 juggernaut that comes with a lot of arcane wizardry that makes it ‘Stang with much appeal for racing suit- and helmet- wearing clientele.
The mechanical bits offered help the GT350 produce more power at higher reps and are only found in exotics such as the R8 or the Ferrari V8s. additionally, it has been provided with new designs for the intake, cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds. True, the Mustang Cobra GT500 might have produced 662 horsepower, but an output of about 526 horsepower, the GT350 is meant to be more track-based and a higher-revving machine.
Salient changes one can find on the GT350 include magnetorheological dampers, a lowered ride height, a stiffer body structure, a retuned suspension system, additional aerodynamic pieces, a tire inflator kit, lightweight carbon-fiber wheels, and stronger brakes.
It’s awesome, in case you’re wondering how it drives. But even so, there are other vehicles in the segment worth checking out such as the Chevrolet Corvette, Alfa Romeo 4C, and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

The audio, phone, and climate controls are effortlessly accessed via the Sync voice command system. The menu and icon interface are easy to use and also provides smartphone swiping and pinching gestures.
The seats are comfortable and provide excellent lateral support needed for aggressive driving and everyday usability. On the downside, though. Both the cargo and backseat volume aren’t spacious.
