The most thrilling change is making the vehicle larger in proportions, which has been the recipe of the way Audi has redesigned their vehicles for decades now. Using the same formula, this car is bine similarly updated as the Audi Q7 and the 2018 Audi R8 vehicles, and besides carrying over some of the parts of the car they also made the lines a bit sharper and thus more modern looking. The apron area suffered minor changes, with a fresh look on the grille and headlights and some changes to the foglamp and air intake areas. There is a small change to the shape of the hood and the combined effort of the front fascia now makes the car more aggressive looking and gives it new aerodynamic features.

The dash and the center console are cleaner and the most innovative addition there is the 8.3-inch color display. Also the infotainment controls are positioned closer to the center console as well. The steering wheel is completely new as well as the MMI controls. The gearshifter is the same one used inside the Audi A8 versions but it does come offered with new door panels this time. The added aluminum inserts make the inside of the cabin look much more premium and the added air vent strips make the cabin look wider.
