Standard features for the large luxury base sedan includes 20” wheels, a sunroof, LED accent and taillights, an air-ride suspension, keyless entry and ignition, rear parking sensors, a soft-close trunk lid and doors, heated and auto-dimming mirrors, and xenon headlights.
Interior wise, you get a 14-way power adjustable heated front seats, wood interior trim, telescopic-and-tilt steering wheel, automatic climate control (dual-zone), leather upholstery, USB/iPod input, 14-speaker premium sound system, a rear center armrest, heated rear outboard seats, a 8” touchscreen display, and rear window privacy screens.
The base also gets an optional Mulliner Driving Specification package that offers an embroidered Bentley emblems, 21” wheels, a knurled gear selector, selectable drive modes, metal sports car pedals, a leather headliner, diamond-quilted upholstery, and a sport-tuned steering and suspension tuning.
The top-of-the-line Sport trim comes with ambient interior lighting, a valet key, stainless interior and exterior accents, a universal garage door opener, massage options, a Naim premium audio system, rear headrests, a rearview camera, a knurled fuel filler cap, ventilated front and rear seats, and loose cushions.
Stand-alone options available for the two trims include a wood-trimmed steering wheel, a fold-down vanity mirrors, interior color choices, a DVD player, side-view cameras, privacy curtains, refrigerated bottle cooler, heated steering wheel, and adaptive cruise control.
2018 Bentley Mulsanne Engine Specs
Generating 505 hp and 752 pounds of torque is a 6.75L V8 engine that comes fitted on the base trim. An eight-speed automatic transmission system is standard, as is the rear-wheel-drive.
During our test drive, the 2018 Bentley Mulsanne was able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.4 seconds. And whilst considering the vehicle’s performance and weight, the EPA fuel economy ratings undeniably suffer to a greater extent. But who cares! Money isn’t a problem here.
Its EPA ratings stand at 11/18/13 mpg in the city/highway/combined.
The performance-themed Speed trim ups the power output to 530 horsepower and 811 pounds of torque. Our test drive yielded an acceleration of 5.2 seconds from naught to 60 mph. regardless of the power bump, the Speed still returns the same EPA ratings as those of the base’s engine.
