Well, there have been rumors that Dodge is set to unveil the new 2018 Avenger sometime this year. According to the same sources and those following closely its developments, the Dodge will come with a myriad of changes and refreshments to bring it to par with the rest of the vehicles in the midsize family segment. The speculated Dodge Avenger release date should be expected sometime before the fall of 2018 or early 2018.
Just like the 2014 model, the newest Avenger is set to offer exemplary handling and ride quality, and a strong V6 engine. The exterior is set to offer an aggressive stance and there’s no doubt that after about three years of waiting, the Avenger will certainly be a head-turner. Another notable strength is the reasonable price tag that well undercuts most of its rivals in its class.
The 2018 Dodge Avenger interior is another conspicuous aspect that Dodge would want to capitalize on. Its interior materials and technologies will probably need to be overhauled and replaced with modern and contemporary ones that reflect modern times and expectations. Some of the technologies that may be offered include adaptive cruise control, a sleek and responsive touchscreen display, a 360-degree camera, and a blind-spot monitor.
Although Dodge is yet to confirm or deny any of the speculations, one thing is certain: the Dodge Avenger 2018 will meet your basic needs. The segment has seen a steady growth of the number of vehicles offered, and the Avenger will certainly have to brace itself for a bruising battle with rivals such as the Ford Fusion, Mazda 6, Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Camry, and the Honda Accord.

Another formidable force to reckon with will probably be the “A” rated Ford Fusion 2018. The Fusion offers an available all-wheel drive system, fuel-efficient engines, sharp handling, an improved touchscreen interface, hush cabin, and advanced technology and safety features. In terms of performance, it comes with three engines with the most powerful being a turbocharged 2.7L V6 engine rated at a whopping 325 horsepower and 350 pounds-feet of torque. For that price tag you get a comfortable and spacious interior, an excellent V6 engine, a distinct luxury and sport trim, user-friendly controls, and laudable rear seat space.
