Some of the standard features offered for the vehicle include a 2.3” driver information display, a telescopic-and-tilt steering wheel, seventeen-inch steel wheels, two additional speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, manual crank windows, cruise control, dual USB ports, a 4.2” central display, an auxiliary input, a cloth upholstery, trailer sway control, remote keyless entry, power mirrors and windows, smartphone app integration, a CD player, a cargo management system, Sync voice controls, and automatic wipers and headlights.

Options offered for the base model include a self-steering system, spray-in or drop-in bed-liners, an electronic-locking rear axle, side steps, hill decent control, underbody skid plates, a tailgate assist step, skid plates, rear privacy glass, alloy wheels, additional storage bins, adjustable headrests, chrome exterior trim and bumpers, passenger lumbar adjustment, a keypad entry system, foglights, and off-road shocks.

Engine specs for the new 2018 Ford Atlas reveal motivation for the truck will be provided by several engines. The base engine is a 3.5L V6 engine rated at 282 hp and 253 lbs. ft. of torque.
