Lamborghini, in one of the most prestigious Motorsport gathering, has unveiled the new 2018 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce. This is the first series-produced Lamborghini convertible to wear the coveted Superveloce emblem. The Aventador release date should be expected sometime in early 2018.
Similar to the Superveloce coupe, the new Roadster gains the same menacing looks and carbon fiber crafts. This now means the new model can direct more air to the direct bay, minimize drag, and provide more downforce at high speeds.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce 2018 interior pictures are unavailable at the moment but our sources say the new vehicle features an SV-specific instrument cluster and lightweight carbon fiber bucket seats. Additionally, the symphony composed by the engine can now be enjoyed passengers thanks to the power rear window.
The Roadster gets its power from a naturally-aspirated 6.5L V12 mill rated at 750 hp @ 8,400 rpm, and 509 lbs. ft. of torque @ 5,500 rpm. According to Lamborghini, the 12-cylinde is built exclusively by hand in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, and is capable of propelling the vehicle from 0-60 mph in just under 3.0 seconds. The top speed is rated at 217 mph.
In terms of the competition available, the latest Aventador will have to brace itself for a bruising battle mounted by such cars as the 2018 Audi R8, Ferrari F12, Ferrari 458, Porsche 911 Turbo, and Lambo’s own Huracan. The Lamborghini Huracan MSRP starts from $237,250 and offers an exotic styling, fantastic noises, an intelligent all-wheel drive system, and a ferocious acceleration. Beneath its hood is a mid-mounted 5.2L V10 engine rated at 602 horsepower and 413 pounds-ft. of torque.
The Lamborghini Huracan 0-62 mph only takes 3.2 seconds, and achieves a fuel economy rating of 14/20/16 mpg in the city/highway/combined.
The Audi R8 MSRP starts from $162,900 and is yet another formidable rival to the Superveloce. It offers an awesome acceleration and handling, easy-to-drive character, an innovative infotainment system, and an exquisitely trimmed cabin. It is offered with only one engine option – a 5.2L V10, mounted behind the seats beneath a transparent engine cover. Two output versions are offered: 540 horsepower and 398 lbs. ft. of torque on the V10, and 610 horsepower and 413 pounds-feet of torque on the V10 Plus.
According to Audi, the R8 0-60 mph takes a mere 3.5 seconds on the V10, and achieves a fuel economy rating of 14/22/18 mpg in the city/highway/combined.
Lastly, the Porsche 911 Turbo gets a masterful handling, a respectable fuel economy, endless customization options, soulful engines, uncompromised convertible model, indefatigable brakes, and daily-driver seat comfort. The Turbo gets its motivation from a turbocharged 3.8L inline-6 engine good for 520 horsepower and 487 pounds-feet of torque.

As already mentioned, the Roadster will get its power from a 6.5L V12 engine rated at an impressive output of 750 horsepower and 509 lbs. ft. of torque. The Superveloce Roadster 0-62 mph only takes about 2.9 seconds. The Top speed is rated at over 217 mph. the power produced is sent to all the four wheels via the seven-speed ISR transmission system.
According to Lamborghini, the new Roadster’s weight is now lighter by 110 lbs. than before thanks to numerous weight-saving measures. Of course more Superveloce specs will be offered on its release date.

Lamborghini says only 500 examples of the Aventador Superveloce Roadster are going to be built, and each one will carry a lofty base MSRP starting from $530,075. It should be expected to go for sale sometime in early 2018.
