2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC Class Release Date, Review, Specs – The new 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC Class comes as a replacement for the outgoing GLK-Class. It offers an excellent balance of comfort and performance, a fuel-sipping turbocharged engine, a generous interior passenger space, abundant safety equipment, and elegant exterior and interior design. Its date of release should be expected towards the end of March next year.

For starters, the GLK-Class model was among the first compact luxury SUVs to hit the market. With it came a sophisticated handling and ride quality, and boasted of a strong performance, however, not everything was likable such as the cramped cabin space, elevated window noise, and a blocky exterior design, and that birthed the GLC-Class.

Although the GLC-Class seems faultless, it falls short in terms of cargo space relative to its competitors in its class. Otherwise, the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC Class is set to be an appealing choice for buyers shopping in the compact crossover luxury SUV segment.

The fuel economy ratings have been improved with the new naturally-aspirated 3.5L V6 engine under its hood. This is the only option the giant German automaker has offered as of this writing, although there are speculations of additional powertrains.

The interior is quieter, solidly built, and elegant than its competition. It comes with high test-crash score reports and a feature galore that will keep you entertained while cruising around. Also, this is the only SUV in its class that offers an adjustable air suspension system that suits driving intentions and conditions by altering both ride height and firmness.

As far as the rivalry in the segment goes, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC Class will still face the same competitors as its outgoing model but with a little less effort this time round. Although aging, the 2018 Audi Q5 is a formidable rival that offers many appealing amenities and a standard AWD system. Others include the 2018 Lexus NX 200t, the 2018 Volvo XC60, the 2018 Acura RDX, and the 2018 BMW X3.
