The new 2017 Chrysler 200 impresses on various aspects including on its interior appointments, engine power and consumption, and on exterior design. Additionally, it offers an easy-to-use touchscreen interface, a strong V6 engine, and excellent safety crash test scores. Its date of release should be expected in July 2017.
This is the freshest model from Chrysler in terms of the latest redesign tweaks. The fuddy-duddy demeanor it had is a thing of the past now. This head-turner offers a smooth ride and trendy looks synonymous with buyer’s expectations of what a modern vehicle should be. With a name to brag about and a reputation worth upholding, the new model is artful and elegant.
Interior wise, the soft-touch, quality materials are tastefully crafted, the controls have a crisp layout, and the ambience is simply out of this world. The controls aren’t just beautiful to the eye but are also built to function with relative ease.
It’s more of a mixed bag beneath its bonnet, though. Sadly, the four-cylinder performance is a bit pokey and it’s perhaps the only notable downside you’ll get while nitpicking. On the brighter side though, there is a brisk 3.6L V6 engine – it’s the best prick that will ensure your winter traction is impressive, and with its punchy output, it undoubtedly offers an athletic handling especially if you opt for the S model. According to the some information we have, the car will reach the speed of 0-60 in 5.5 sec.
Except for the interior room and the lackluster four-cylinder engine, Chrysler seems to have ticked all the right boxes with the 200. You might also check out what the competition offers to be affirmative before committing. Some of them include the 2017 Ford Fusion, the often sidelined but athletic and fun-to-drive 2017 Mazda 6, and the 2017 Honda Accord. Even in the face of such “hostility,” the new 2017 Chrysler 200 is nonetheless difficult to beat when it comes to good looks.

2017 Chrysler 200 Engine Specs
Beneath the hood of the 2017 Chrysler 200 is an apathetic four-cylinder 2.4L engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission system which forwards the power – 184 hp and 173 lbs. ft. of torque to the front wheels.
For those looking for more motivation, an optional 3.6L V6 engine rated at 295 hp and 262 pounds-feet of torque is available under the hoods of every trim except the base LX trim. This engine also gets the Sport mode that sharpens both response and transmission, and also decides the amount of torque it should send to the rear axle.
A time of 6.2 seconds is what you’d require to get past 60 mph with the 200s AWD. this therefore means, the 200 is among the best in the segment in terms of acceleration. However, the four-cylinder needs 9.0 seconds for the same sprint.
Finally, EPA says the V6 FWD four-cylinder 200 model should return 36/23/28 mpg on the highway/city/combined, and 32/19/23 mpg with the V6 FWD.
