The 2017 Subaru BRZ Series.HyperBlue Edition tacks on the above features plus logo-embroidered front seats, blue interior accent stitching, special light blue paint, exterior badges and black wheels, aerodynamic body styling tweaks, black-and-blue interior scheme, and a frameless rearview mirror.

Exterior Subaru BRZ 2017 colors include Dark Gray Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Ice Silver Metallic, WR Blue Pearl, Pure Red, and Crystal White Pearl. Additional colors may be available on its release date.

2017 Subaru BRZ Engine Specs

Powering the new 2017 Subaru BRZ is a 200-hp- and 151 lbs. ft. of torque – generating 2.0L horizontally opposed four-cylinder turbocharged engine that pairs with either a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission system.


According to results from various tests drives conducted over a couple of evaluation loops, the 2017 Subaru BRZ 0-60 mph takes about 7.9 seconds – an average time for the second and a slightly slower than the MX-Miata.
