2018 BMW 4 Series Review

The new 2018 BMW 4 Series once again promises an excellent performance, and premium interior appointments. Additionally, it offers a myriad of other appealing features such as a dynamic handling, spacious interior seating, upscale interior with straightforward controls, and powerful yet fuel-efficient engines. The BMW 4 Series 2018 release date should be expected sometime this fall, if recent industry pundit’s reports are anything to go by.

It doesn’t take too long to understand the reason why the BMW 4 Series has been the consensus favorite among luxury sport convertibles and coupes once you’re behind the wheel. If you’re an automotive enthusiast, you’ve probably heard about the 4 Series’ diminished “feel” – it maybe subjective, but the noise holds some water nonetheless especially in comparison to its two-door 3 Series predecessors.

But even so, there’s nothing on the market today that can rival BMW’s technology features, top-notch luxury, and engaging driving demeanor. All models including the 2018 BMW 4 Series are uniquely well-rounded.

In comparison to the 3 Sedan with which it shares a platform, the new 4 Series sits lower and wider giving it a sleeker look that is apparently a necessity in this style-driven class. The 2018 BMW 4 Series interior is outstanding and BMW has offered it mild changes meant to burnish its appeal in the face of growing competition. Some features now include a standard sixteen-speaker Harman Kardon stereo and sports seats.

Beneath the hood, two engines are offered. The 2018 BMW 428i model gets the 240-horsepower – generating turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that enables a fiery 0-60 acceleration in just 5.4 seconds. The other mill is a 3.0L turbocharged six-cylinder engine good for 300 horsepower available for the 2018 BMW 435i model.

Within this price range, though, there’re some pretty enticing competitors offering all manner of bells and whistles, but they nevertheless fall short in some areas, too. Some of them include the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, Infiniti Q60, Audi A5 2018, and the Ford Mustang GT. Good as they may seem, the “A” rated 2018 BMW 4 Series remains the king of this jungle.

News of its when it will be available are still scanty at the moment, but my crystal ball tends to suggest that the new model will most likely go for sale sometime this fall.
